PHOENIX, AZ – Today, the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) and its political arm, ABIC Action announced the new hiring of Enrique Davis-Mazlum as the new Arizona State Director of ABIC and ABIC Action. Prior to joining ABIC and ABIC Action, Enrique was the LUCHA Blue Campaign Director in Arizona. Davis-Mazlum brings over two decades of grassroots political campaigns internationally.
During his tenure at LUCHA, Davis-Mazlum worked closely with ABIC Action on the Yes On 308 campaign contributing to an historic win in Arizona, the first state in the U.S. History to pass a ballot initiative allowing Arizona’s Dreamers to pay the same in-state tuition to attend Arizona colleges and universities as the state’s documented high school graduates.
Additionally, Davis-Mazlum holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and has taught at several universities, most recently at the University of Arizona.
