ABIC Action went even harder with a six-figure ad campaign, funding two 60-second ads – each featuring a different Pedro Pan survivor – which have been running on South Florida Spanish-language radio stations since Tuesday.
The first ad calls attention to what’s really disgusting (“repugnante”) in this entire charade: “A DeSantis who puts his political base above the welfare of children in danger… Now, THAT’s disgusting!”
The second ad features Pedro Pan participant Silvia Figura who fled the Castro regime with her family in the 1960s. In the ad she castigates DeSantis for refusing to see the similarities between Pedro Pan and today’s undocumented, unaccompanied minors.
