Rebecca Shi is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC), a bipartisan coalition of 1,700 CEOs, employers and associations across the country dedicated to commonsense immigration solutions that secure the border and secure America’s workforce. Under Rebecca’s leadership, ABIC has led bipartisan, high-impact, national, state, and local campaigns to win policy solutions to strengthen American businesses and families.

Rebecca immigrated from China when she was ten years old; graduated from the University of Chicago with high honors, selected graduation speaker and is currently being considered for Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at University of Chicago Booth School of Business; and is tri-lingual in English, Mandarin, Spanish. She has spent nearly 20 years building bipartisan coalitions and advancing immigration and workforce solutions.

Rebecca was honored as “Emerson Demo Day” speaker along with keynote speaker Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. She was named a “20 in their 20s” by Crains’ Business Chicago, an Asian American Community Leadership Awardee; a Governor Jim Edgar Fellow; 2024 UChicago “Early Career Achievement” alumni awardee, and one of MarketWatch’s “25 People Impacting Your Wallet: Reshaping How We Live, Work, Spend, Save, and Invest” in 2025. Rebecca’s work has been featured in NewsMax, Fox Business, Fox and Friends, WSJ, TexasGOP Vote, Washington Post, New York Times, Texas Tribune, Miami Herald, Politico, and Axios, among others. She has testified before Congress multiple times.
